This video was made in October 2015 as part of the project “Bridging political REDD+ negotiations with everyday life in the rainforest” carried out in 2014 and 2015 in Panama, Nicaragua and Bolivia, and supported by the Danish NGO Forests of the World.

Panamá

Through the video workshop and participatory mapping, a group from the Emberá Purú community shared their opinion on the main problems that affect the community; land invasion and deforestation.

The Makanté community of the Monte Verde indigenous territory shares the problem in the Bolivian Chiquitanía; climate change, drought and food security.
